So it looks like the Blue Jays aren't in the playoff picture anymore, but at least we can make it interesting for the Yankees in the meantime!

According to the standings from Fox, the Blue Jays are still in a reasonable position for the Wild card. 'Course, it's a long shot at this point, but it could happen.

Smart food?

A reader asked resident Science Guy Bill Nye if is any food out there to improve your intelligence. He believes that a Mediterranean diet, besides being balanced and nutritious might help your brain, at the very least by keeping your nutrients in harmony. The advantage to eating properly is that it will help you avoid gaining weight and needing larger products in your wardrobe.

In the Odd Dept. for the day, some inmates apparently wanted more than what they were getting at supper time. They might not be getting enough meat in their diet, but they could be in worse places.

new Lamborghini

The auto show in Frankfurt showcased the new Lamborghini design and it looks quite sweet. It borrows a lot from airplane designs and that gives it a new look that's never been seen before. A car that fancy sure beats the hell out of a Ford Mustang, doesn't it?

So the popular consensus is that you're not supposed to wear white after Labor Day. Nobody really seems to know the origin of this standby in American fashion, but at least some places are prepared to deal with this in many ways

Britney's latest fiasco

So it seems that Miss Spears has, once again, earned another spot in the hearts and minds of everyone that dislikes her by pulling another sad stunt on stage. One thing is for certain, she doesn't need any belts or buckles to go with an outfit like that. Still, the buckle applies rather nicely.

Check this out: Do you think she is dressed alright for an airplane flight? I think she looks great, but maybe if she had a belt to go along with those white shorts and a hot buckle to go with it, she's really be hot!

rainy day

On my way in to work, there was a ton of rain falling and it reminded me of the damage I saw when Easton (not to far from where I work at 2BHip was flooded some years ago. Of course, I don't remember the fog that I saw this morning that forced some tractor trailers to the side of the road, but that didn't do much except delay traffic.

Front room progress

Half of those panels I mentioned earlier are now hanging on the walls and it's looking pretty good. Once the other half of them go up, the walls will have a brick-wall sort of look to them. We also have some ideas on how we're going to display the buckles we have to sell and that is slowly taking shape. More on that once it's closer to being finished.
